Hi there Kindred Spirit fans!! Happy Holidays to everyone!
It's been an epic rockin' year for us, and we're really grateful for the support from all of our friends coming out to enjoy our musical adventures!!
We celebrated the band's 14 anniversary year playing to well over 10,000 people at about 50 gigs, and over 20 different venues!!
Without a doubt, the most consistent venue for us this year has been Pete's Steakhouse, where we'll be ending our year (and celebrating Mike S's bday) this Friday night. Rich and Gina Tonti and their staff have been consistently supportive of our local music scene and we appreciate it. There may not be a ton of room for dancing, but somehow we make it work and we've had busy and fun nights at Pete's all year long.
By the way, their son Pete Tonti is an excellent young rockin' musician and he and his parents have put together a show at Cedar Gardens next Sunday, December 18th to benefit the Sunshine Foundation Benefit -Tickets are $10, $12 at the door. Bands start at 5 pm. Food provided by Pete's Steakhouse!
Also want to mention that last Friday's show at the Ivy Tavern was one of the best ever! Thanks to the members of the band Highway 41 for playing a killer set and sitting in with us for one of our most fun sets ever, as a "moving away party" gift to our friend Valerie - the band 3.26 played some sweet tunes as well.
